Bylaws

There were two proposed sets of changes to the KHSAA Bylaws voted on at the November 5 meeting.

Proposed change #1: Add the Membership Chairperson to the Board of Directors
This proposal did not pass.  Result: no change to bylaws.

Proposed change #2: Remove the Historian from the Board of Directors
This proposal passed.  Result: The following changes will be made to the Bylaws:

• Article VI: Government.  Remove ", Historian" so that the first bulleted item reads:
  
  The Association shall be under the supervision of the Board of Directors.  The Board shall include the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and two members at large.
  
  
• Article VIII: Duties of the Board of Directors.  Remove the following section:
  
  HISTORIAN
  
  The Historian shall record the history of the Association.  The Historian shall be the liaison with the Historical Committee and shall also maintain a record of Association activities.
