Meeting Schedule

Standard meeting location and format:

***For September, we will experiment with a lunch-time meeting (1-3pm)***

  • Meetings are held in the KHS Library (top floor, far right); if you wish to use the elevator, enter under the main steps (the tunnel) between 6:50pm and 7:15pm; otherwise, use the main steps.  If you need transportation, please contact the Alumni Association, and we will try to arrange a carpool.
  • The Social Session begins at 7:00pm

  • The (usually short) business meeting starts at 7:20pm

  • A program of general interest follows the business meeting

  • The meeting is over by 8:30pm

  • Everyone is invited to attend our meetings.  It is not necessary to be a member of the KHSAA.

January 4 "How KATS (The Kennett Amateur Theatrical Society) Started" by founder Gary Smith.  A small preview of their January production was part of the presentation.
March 7 KHS Principal, Dr. Jeremy Hritz
May 2 Joyce Dennison, KHS 1960, will give a presentation about struggles for Civil Rights in the 1960s. Joyce was one of hundreds of college students who were jailed in Baltimore during protests about segregation policies in local theatres.
July 16 Annual Alumni Social at Jenner's Pond with musical entertainment by "The Dixie Demons".  3:30 - 7:00 pm.  Click here for details.
Sept. 12 1:00-3:00 LUNCH-time get together at "The Market at Liberty Place", 148 W. State St., Kennett Square.  Lots of food/drink options available.  Meet at large wooden tables inside.
Nov. 7 (tentative) LUNCH-time get together
