Melissa A. Weller, 18, of Nottingham was killed in a car accident on March 31 in Nottingham Township.
She was a senior at Kennett High School where she was on the yearbook staff.
Formerly of Hockessin, she was born in Dover, Del..
She was a member of Holly Oak United Methodist Church in Claymont.
Miss Weller is survived by her father, Donald R. Weller of Kathleen Ga.; her mother, Therese Weister Weller of New Castle, Del.; a stepmother, Barabra Weller of Kathleen; a brother, Donald C. Weller of Kathleen; a half brother, Kyle C. Lynch of Kewanna, Ind.; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Beth Weller of Kewanna; paternal grandparents Jon and Barbara Gast of Kewanna; maternal grandparents Dolores and Cliff Walker of Secane, Pa.; maternal grandparents James and Judy Weister of Philadelphia; maternal great-grandparents James and Dorothy Weister of Morgantown, W.Va.; and companion, Greg Bonificino of Nottingham.
Services were held Saturday at the Edward L. Collins Funeral Home in Oxford and on Monday in Kewanna. She was buried in Citizens I.O.F. Cemetery in Kewanna.
