Volunteers Needed!

After the Bell, an after school program offered free of charge to Kennett Middle School students, needs several volunteers for our spring cycle activities. The spring cycle operates Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from April 23 to May 27 at the Middle School. On Tuesdays we need a volunteer to supervise Mouse Pad, an activity in which students use computers to complete homework or play games, from 4:20 to 5:25; and we need a second volunteer to supervise Lego Robots, which will be taught by a high school student and supervised by an adult. The time for that activity is 3:15 to 5:25, and the dates for which we need coverage are May13, 20, and 27. We also need a volunteer to act as a substitute when a facilitator finds out at the last minute that he/she cannot come; that opening is on Thursdays from 3:00 to 5:25. If you can help us in any of these activities, please contact Program Chair Sue Woodward at 610-793-3998 or the After the Bell office at 610-268-5889 sometime this week.

In May we will begin planning our activities for the fall cycle. If you would be willing to join us in offering an activity or assisting a leader, we welcome your help. Please contact Sue Woodward or the After the Bell office.
